When your iPhone is in a black screen, you can try to force a reboot. Forced reboot will not erase the existing data on the device, so you can operate with confidence. Please refer to the following steps to force your iPhone to start according to your iPhone model:
1) iPhone 6s and previous models: Press and hold the Home and Top (or Side) power-on buttons simultaneously until the Apple logo appears on the screen.
2) iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus: Press and hold the side power button and low volume button for at least 10 seconds until you see the Apple logo.
3) iPhone X, iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus: Press the volume high button and release it quickly. Press the low volume button and release it quickly, then press and hold the side power button until the Apple logo appears.

Part 1 solves iPhone black screen problem with iOS system repair

If forced restart of the iPhone is invalid, FonePaw iOS system repair can help you. FonePaw iOS system repair can help you fix iPhone card black screen, recovery mode, DFU mode, white apple and other system issues, and will not cause iOS device data loss.
Step 1: Connect iPhone to iOS system repair software
After downloading and installing the software to your computer, launch the software and click into the iOS system repair function. Then connect the iPhone to your computer via the USB cable.

Step 2: Start repairing the iPhone black screen
Before fixing your iOS device, please read the tips on the main screen:
1) The repaired iOS device will be upgraded to the latest iOS operating system.
2) The unlocked iPhone/iPad/iPod will be re-locked.
3) After the jailbroken device is repaired, it will also change back to non-jailbreaking state.
Confirm that there is no problem. Click the " Start " button at the bottom right and follow the prompts.

Depending on your device model, follow the prompts to get your iPhone into recovery mode. If your device can't enter recovery mode, you can also click the " Click to enter DFU mode " button at the bottom .

When your device successfully enters recovery mode, the software will automatically recognize the information of the iPhone you are accessing. If the match matches the correct information for your device, please reselect the correction or the iOS device will be bricked.

The software then starts downloading the plugin to the computer. During the repair process, don't disconnect or do other operations on the iPhone. After the repair is complete, you can start the iPhone normally.

If you can't fix the iPhone black screen and start the phone normally through the above methods, it may be a hardware problem, I suggest you send it for repair. iPhone system problems are common , so it's important to back up your iOS data regularly to prevent damage to your phone.
