Shooting from new angles

A change of perspective often makes it possible to obtain the most creative images. Whether you're physically taller than a group of people to take a group photo, get to the top floor of your office to take a picture of the city skyline, or simply hold a camera above your head during a concert. Such a method is not always practical, but it can bear fruit.
Fortunately, our remote imaging technology allows you to take shots from interesting angles and push the boundaries of creativity. You can place yourself in the frame to make group portraits or superb selfies, and to photograph remotely, without disturbing them, of the most unpredictable subjects, such as wild animals.
Many of our recent cameras allow you to use your smartphone rather than the usual viewfinder. You can control your camera remotely. Just connect your smartphone to your camera and launch the Canon Camera Connect app. If you have the NFC feature, you only need to pair both devices to create a connection. When your device is resting on a stable surface or tripod, you can remotely adjust the frame, focus, and other settings from your smartphone. It gives you the opportunity to leave room for your imagination, explore unusual angles and create more engaging clichés.
